  I went to Bistro 140 today for a paint night. When I got there people were getting drinks and I just wanted to get a glass of water. When I asked the bartender for just a glass he started to get angry and insist that I get a bottle of water. I told him just a cup would be fine. He then continue to insinuate that getting tap water was gross. As well as judge me for wanting the free cup of water rather than paying for a bottle. I felt very embarrassed and uncomfortable being there. It completely ruined the night. As for the paint night itself the hosts were very nice and charismatic. It's ashamed that the restaurant had someone so rude working the bar.

  Arrived early, place settings for 6 around a table for 4, waited for rest of the party to arrive. Server appeared to be working alone, wasn't offered drink/menu etc until the rest of my party arrived.

  Found the menu lacking and expensive for what you got in taste and quality. Not much of a wine or spirit drinker. Insisted on water as there were no alternatives. Ran out of water and had to finish my dry meal without. Not impressed.

  Food was great, and came out hot. Weather changed really quickly and it sent the heating system for a loop, pretty cold- am told it's not the norm.

  Always a fantastic experience! The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is always so relaxing. This is a great place to go for date night.
