  After a 4 hour drive and a long day of racing we were looking forward to a relaxing shower and some sleep . Having had booked our room the previous evening ( happy to have found a dog friendly location) we assumed that we would have no issues grabbing our keys and heading to our room . Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady at the front desk ( only reason this even gets a star) who informed us our dog being over 30 lbs was not welcome . understanding that some hotels may have weight restrictions I double checked the website for the hotel and confirmed that it did in fact say "pet friendly" and without a weight restriction attached . Showing the website ( official ..not a travelocity or other third party website ) they retracted there " under 30 lbs " statement and showed me a sign with the words " pet friendly" scribbled out and told me they do not allow any pets . -- completely false advertisement and rude treatment from the owner .

  The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and the restaurant was awesome.

  Family owned on a quiet street. They accommodated us very late (pass midnight) and even gave us a free room upgrade (double beds to queen beds). The room was very nice and clean, with adjustable heat. Their continental breakfast even includes a waffle batter dispenser and waffle maker, it made my morning.

  Rooms are in need of maintenance. Hallways in upper area were cold. Hall heaters turned off. Restraunt had what seemed to be new staff which made service slow. Two stars because staff was so friendly.

  Room was very comfortable and clean. Best shower I have ever had in a hotel. But the bed was very firm and I found myself quite sore in the morning. However, for the cheaper rate and the good location, this is a decent place to stay if you're considering an overnight stay in Miramichi. Also, the continental breakfast was tasty and fresh.
